Honda Civic or New Insight?

by on 2010/03/09

All 2009 Civics present a new look to the world, with an all new bumper and grille for starters. Upgraded models feature new alloy wheel designs as well. Unlike a older used Honda Ridgeline the Hybrid was not an option. Honda owners who get behind the steering wheel of a  Honda Accord will not feel instantly at home, like the new 2010 Honda hybrid, which has several great features, including the glowing background of the digital speedometer, which goes through a range of peacock hues from electric lime green at the most extreme to high strength indigo blue at full brightness. The Honda Insight's great gauge setup and comfy seating position, and controls inside the Insight make driving a breeze.

The Honda Insight breaks from other hybrid options in a couple of different ways, however, unlike most hybrids, the Insight's GPS doesn't have the usual hybrid visuals, nor does it have a backup system. Not having the greatest fuel mileage in its league does not seem to worry Honda they seem to be more centered on creating a car much more pleasurable to drive and economic. The 2010 Honda Insight is an economical four-door five-seat hatchback currently offered in both LX and EX trim packages. The same name of the Insight was used in the late nineties when Honda put out an unfamiliar two door compact car that did not have curb appeal. This present 2010 Honda is an all new model. Comparisons to the Toyota Prius are almost inevitable, the 2010 Honda Insight can almost be dropped into the Prius mold, being that the body has the same high-tail fastback profile, surely dictated by aero drag considerations. Aerodynamic considerations positively play a big part in shaping the 2010 Insight; this is one of the most aerodynamic shapes. The new herd of Honda cars and SUVs offer the same promises that have made Honda famous worldwide. Honda's versatile selection of cars, trucks, and minivans appeal to any new car buyer working with a budget in mind.
