The 2010 S4 exterior separates itself from the A4 sedan that its based on with styling hues that emphasize its already tight European design. It’s called a direct-shift gearbox. Think of it as an automated manual. There is no torque converter. Instead, it has two clutches, one for even gears and one for odd ones.
Your right.. its a supercharger. We thought it was a turbo cause it has a T on the side.. and the salesman never corrected us when we said turbo.
It is an amazing car regardless.
How the hell would a non turbo car have turbo lag?

How is it a manual if it is shifting by itself…that’s called AUTO SHIFTING=AUTO TRANNY.
Dont get the car, stick to a MANUAL Prius.
Glad to see you enjoyed the test drive of such an amazing car but uhh the reason there wasn’t any turbo lag is because there are no turbo’s in the S4….
Just took this car for a test drive today..
AMAZING CAR!!! No turbo lag, power is instant on. 3.0l V6 333HP
The Auto shift is really nice too. It can shift in .02 Seconds. And feels like a manual .. cause it is. It just shifts by itself.
In drive, it was a little slow to downshift, and was more concervative.. But in Sport mode and Manual mode is was awesome.
Car has decent back seat room, and a nice size truck, and the seats fold down too.
